Pop star Tiffany became internationally famous for a string of pop hits in the late 80s. She had back to back No. 1 songs with "I Think We're Alone Now" and "Could've Been" from her debut self-titled album. Tiffany has sold more than 15 million albums worldwide and her popularity increased as a teen idol by performing in shopping malls around the country. Today, Tiffany continues to sing and perform. Heritage Film Festival - Under A Jarvis Moon

Produced by Bishop Museum, this documentary tells the true story of over 130 young men, mostly native Hawaiian students from Kamehameha Schools, who were sent by the U.S. government to occupy the remote Pacific islands of Howland, Baker and Jarvis from 1935 to 1942. Under A Jarvis Moon shares many of these stories in the colonists’ own words, using interviews, photographs, log book entries and government documents. A Q&A session with directors and producers, Noelle Kahanu and Heather Giugni, and special guest George Kahanu, one of the last remaining colonists, will follow the screening.

Infusing the powerful rhythms of ensemble Japanese drumming with elements of hip-hop, rock and electronica, the band's unique sound has been praised as “completely original.†On Ensemble is supported by one of Japan’s most important traditional-culture bearers, Miyamoto Unosuke Shoten, instrument maker to the emperor. The 2012 Point Panic Music Festival brings an exciting new line up of musical artists with Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Groundation, Paula Fuga & Mike Love. Bone Thugs-n-Harmony is an American hip-hop band from Cleveland, formed in 1991, that originally consisted of rappers Layzie Bone, Flesh-n-Bone, Bizzy Bone, Krayzie Bone and Wish Bone. For the past 20 years, the rappers have released eight albums, including Uni 5: The World's Enemy in 2010, and have been ranked #12 on the About.com list of the 25 Best Rap Groups of All Time. Groundation is a spiritual roots reggae band that tours internationally. The group's mission is "preserving the history and integrity of Reggae music." In 2011, they released a compilation album, Gathering of the Elders. Maui vocalist and 'ukulele artist, Paula Fuga, rounds out the concert with her soulful songs of Hawai'i backed by the Mike Love Trio. In 2010, Paula released her second all-original album, Misery's End.

Keola Beamer’s reputation as a composer, arranger, guitarist and vocalist continues to achieve new heights with his work as one of the composer-performers on the Oscar-nominated film, The Descendants. The music featured in this once-in-a-lifetime concert is inspired by the nationally televised PBS Hawai‘i special Keola Beamer: MÄlama Ko Aloha (Keep Your Love). Joining Keola on stage are: his dear friend, R. Carlos Nakai, a Native American flutist and nine-time Grammy Award nominee, and jazz pianist virtuoso, Geoffrey Keezer, who has two Grammy Award nominations and has performed across the globe. Keola's wife, Kumu Hula Moanalani Beamer, will grace the stage with chant, dance and Hawaiian percussive instruments.
