Comedy powerhouse Mike Epps, whose career encompasses stand-up tours, TV and movies, got his professional start in 1995 as part of the groundbreaking Def Comedy Jam series on HBO. He currently stars in his own standup special, “Mike Epps Presents” and is on a national sold-out comedy tour. Mike was mostly recently seen starring in the Sony Pictures film, “Jumping the Broom.” Known for his quick wit and ability to blend hip hop with comedy, Epps hosted both the 2009 and 2010 BET Hip Hop Awards to rave reviews. In 2010, he starred in a standup special, “Mike Epps: Under-rated and Never Faded” on Comedy Central and Showtime, and released his first comedy rap album, Funny Bidness: Da Album along with a comedy DVD, Funny Bidness. Epps has made his mark in movies, playing unforgettable characters like Day-Day Jones in Ice Cube’s “Next Friday” and “Friday After Next” films, L.J. from the “Resident Evil” franchise, Ed Norton in “The Honeymooners” and Black Doug in “The Hangover” as well as the role of Satin as part of an all-star lineup in “Sparkle,” featuring Jordin Sparks and the late Whitney Houston. His stand-up tour continues across the country to rave reviews. Content for mature audiences
