Zenshin Daiko's 14th Annual Taiko Festival

Zenshin Daiko's annual Taiko Festival concert will open with Taiko Center of the Pacific Youth Group. TCP-YG is the children's group of world-renowned taiko drummer Kenny Endo's school of taiko on O'ahu. Since it was formed in 1994, the group has developed technique and creativity to become one of the top youth taiko ensembles performing worldwide. The second half of the evening features Maui's Zenshin Daiko, who will premiere two exciting pieces: The first is composed by Alyssa Fuchikami for ZD's Intermediate Class. For the second piece, taiko artist Shoji Kameda of On Ensemble was commissioned to write a new work and has been collaborating with ZD's Advanced Class on an innovative and rhythmically challenging piece that will bring down the house!

Tickets: $20/adults, $10/kids 12 years & under (plus applicable fees)
