BAMP Project and Heineken present the Red Star Music Festival, starring Rebelution, Collie Buddz and The Grouch. California-based reggae band, Rebelution was formed in 2004. They have released 3 albums to date, including the latest, Peace of Mind. They have been touring nationwide this year. Bermuda reggae artist Collie Buddz released his self-titled debut album in 2007, which stormed the charts, entering Billboard's Reggae Chart at the #1 spot. He soon became an international hit after the album topped charts in every country. The Grouch is one of the founding members of the internationally infamous group, The Living Legends. With humble beginnings nearly 15 years ago, The Grouch has steadily grown into one of the prominent figures in the independent hip-hop scene and has successfully released ten solo projects. Point Panic Music Festival - Bone Thugs-n-Harmony & Groundation

The 2012 Point Panic Music Festival brings an exciting new line up of musical artists with Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Groundation, Paula Fuga & Mike Love. Bone Thugs-n-Harmony is an American hip-hop band from Cleveland, formed in 1991, that originally consisted of rappers Layzie Bone, Flesh-n-Bone, Bizzy Bone, Krayzie Bone and Wish Bone. For the past 20 years, the rappers have released eight albums, including Uni 5: The World's Enemy in 2010, and have been ranked #12 on the About.com list of the 25 Best Rap Groups of All Time. Groundation is a spiritual roots reggae band that tours internationally. The group's mission is "preserving the history and integrity of Reggae music." In 2011, they released a compilation album, Gathering of the Elders. Maui vocalist and 'ukulele artist, Paula Fuga, rounds out the concert with her soulful songs of Hawai'i backed by the Mike Love Trio. In 2010, Paula released her second all-original album, Misery's End.

BAMP presents Republik Music Festival Year3 Jamrock Edition with Damian Marley, Santigold, Ghetto Youths Crew and The Throwdowns! Damian Marley, also known as âJunior Gongâ and more recently as âGongzilla,â is a self-proclaimed Spiritual Revolutionary and has strived to carve his own niche in music history and add a new perspective to the Marley legacy for the 21st century. Damianâs hit single âWelcome to Jamrockâ was listed as one of the Top 100 Songs of the Decade by Rolling Stone, and at the 2006 Grammy Awards, he won Best Reggae Album and Best Urban/Alternative Performance. This album led the way to Damianâs acclaimed collaboration with Nas for their album Distant Relatives. He continued to cross musical boundaries in 2012, partnering with Skrillex for their groundbreaking track âMake It Bun Dem.â Santigold is Santi White: an artist whose perseverance relies on invention, a champion who survives off her own skill and faith. Her breakthrough hit record Master of My Make-Believe summons pop culture zombies back to life. Ghetto Youths Crew is a group of gifted young artists from the Marleys' Ghetto Youths International record label.

The Jazz Maui Festival will feature an evening of world class Jazz with performances by award-winning pianist Tommy James, music director of the Duke Ellington Orchestra for the past nine years, the Louisiana based Louis Romanos Quartet (LRQ), featuring original music combining Latin, bebop and New Orleans street-beat rhythms, plus trumpeter Jim Seeley and alto saxophonist Peter Brainin of the Arturo OâFarrill Latin Jazz Orchestra. Sponsored by the Arts Education for Children Group and Mana`o Radio. A Dancinâ Dave Production. Enjoy a preshow concert with the Gene Argel Trio in McCoy Courtyard.
