The Live @ the MACC series of events includes many special virtual experiences streamed for free to our Maui community & elsewhere. Events to include Hawaiian, pop and classical music, dance, visual arts and more. We are pleased to present, streamed from the MACC's Castle Theater, a virtual return of Maui's own ZENSHIN DAIKO.

Maui's own Zenshin Daiko is dedicated to teaching taiko to children and has grown from a small, local taiko group to one that has achieved national and international recognition. Since forming in 1999, Zenshin Daiko has held over 50 performances a year and had its 1,000th gig last year. Zenshin Daiko has also been recognized as a leading builder of taiko drums from used wine barrels, building most of their own drums and helping to repair taiko for other groups.
The Live @ the MACC series is made possible by the generous support of the County of Maui and the Office of Economic Development. The series is designed to bring much needed opportunities for many of Hawai‘i's performing artists in a combination of live/virtual or safe/live-in-person events that meet or exceed current CDC guidelines.
