Exhibit Detail

Four established Native Hawaiian women artists, Maile Andrade, Ka'ili Chun, Kapulani Landgraf and April Drexel will explore separate areas of interest with new bodies of work for this exhibition. Their concepts will address social issues of historical relevance, with specific attention to Hawaiian cultural, environmental and political ideas. Multi-media investigations in fiber, glass, painting, photography and installation-based work will raise an awareness and connectivity to the past, present and future of Hawai'i.
