Feeling and connection through music is what vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Kendall Dean is all about. Her connection to the violin started at a very young age when she fell in love with it and hasn’t looked back.

She studied Irish, Cape Breton, Scottish, and classical music in her hometown on the rocky coastline of Maine and spent significant time in Ireland and Scotland training and playing with world-renowned fiddlers until her travels called her to Hawaii.

Here she connects with music as far back as her grandmother who played guitar and sang in a Hawaiian style trio. Fresh off her latest album release, “Catharsis,” full of modern folk sounds and pulsing rhythms, she invites you to join her in the intimate setting of the McCoy Studio Theater and to embrace the feeling of connection, as can be so magically experienced when listening to live music.
