McCoy Studio Theater

NUE (Nā ‘Ukulele ‘Ekolu) is (l-r in photo above) Kama Hopkins on bass ‘ukulele, Halehaku Seabury on baritone ‘ukulele, and Bryan Tolentino on tenor ‘ukulele.


These three Nā Hōkū Hanohano award winners, rooted in Hawai’i’s rich ‘ukulele and Hawaiian music culture, come together for a special MACC concert to showcase their ‘ukulele artistry and vocal harmonies creating a unique sound.

Audience members are encouraged to bring their own ‘ukulele and participate during the show!

Sat, June 18 before the concert | 5:00pm – 6:00pm
McCoy Studio Theater

Bring your `ukulele and have fun learning the structure of a simple Hawaiian song and experimenting with different rhythms in the song.  Recommended levels: Beginner to Advanced. Knowledge of basic chords is helpful. Ukulele workshop participants are eligible for a $5 discount on one full price ticket. One discount per participant. Member, child and student price tickets are not eligible for discount.

The MACC Box Office is currently not open for window sales.  Box Office hours for ticketing inquiries via email and phone (808-242-SHOW) are Tuesday - Friday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. 
 
STUDENT TICKETS:
$16 UHMC student tickets (with current ID) are available for purchase (1 per ID) by phone with the MACC Box Office during operating hours noted above.  ID will need to be presented at the Box Office when picking up tickets prior to the performance.  
 
GROUP TICKETS:
A 10% discount is available for purchases of 10 or more tickets. Must be purchased together to get the discount.  Contact the MACC Box Office by phone (808-242-7469 Tu-F, 10am-4pm) for group ticket purchases.
