The MACC is located at One Cameron Way, Kahului, Maui. The Box Office is open Monday-Saturday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, also open two hours before Castle Theater shows and one hour before McCoy Studio Theater shows. The Box Office is located at the front gates of The Center, across from the big banyan tree!

Driving Directions: MACC is across the road from Kahului Harbor, between the campus of Maui Community College & Keopuolani Park. From Ka'ahumanu Ave heading towards Wailuku, turn right on Kahului Beach Road and go a short way along Kahului Harbor; turn left at the stoplight onto Wahinepi'o. From Ka'ahumanu Ave heading from Wailuku, turn left on Wahinepi'o at the stoplight (note that street sign on the right hand side will say Papa). The Box Office is located at the left side of our beautiful front gates, across from the big banyan tree.

HeartDance Enjoy a fun evening of happy tappin’ dancers with special guest international artist, Lynn Schwab, and local dancers from Maui Academy of Performing Arts. Love of the art form known as “tap dance” is projected by the Heart Dance group in a heartfelt performance in which the beats and rhythms guide the dancers to a place of pure joy. Their percussion instruments are the metal taps on their shoes, delighting the audience in song and sound.

My Mama MonolguesMaui Playwright Pat Masumoto is offering yet another incarnation of My Mama Monologues, which premiered last Mother’s Day and featured true “mama” stories from men, women and children worldwide. A powerful mix of hilarious, tender and healing, the stories were read in Hawai‘i, across the U.S. and Europe. This time, Masumoto’s cast of grandparents and grandchildren, celebrities and first-timers will present monologues with even more riveting dramatic shifts, including Pat telling stories about her 101-yr-old mom, who is on Twitter and YouTube as “GrandmaFlorence.” – Follow her!

Galen HansenOrganized by the Museum of Art at Washington State University, this exhibit brings together a retrospective of 30 years of this remarkable artist’s development. It traces the evolution of Hansen’s narrative paintings which encompass the landscape of the rural West. Colorful large scale compositions of horses, dogs, fish, grasshoppers and Hansen’s alter ego "the Kernal" lead viewers into his playful world of humor and humanity.

This MACC concert series features Maestro Kala Ramnath, “The Singing Violin,” torch bearer of the Mewati Gharana Indian music tradition. She stands among the most outstanding and brilliant instrumental musicians of the classical genre. This rare, intimate and deeply inspired performance by one of India’s most celebrated musicians is sure to please.

Pahinui Hawaiian BandIn the footsteps of his father, Hawaiian Music Master Cyril Pahinui has brought together a group of close friends and family members to continue the Pahinui legacy. In the Pahinui Hawaiian Band are longtime friend and steel guitarist, Greg Sardinha, nephew, Kunia Galdeira, master slack key and bass player, Sonny Lim, and student, Peter Moon, son of renowned ‘ukulele master by the same name. Cyril’s equally well-known older brother, Bla Pahinui, makes guest appearances. Pahinui Hawaiian Band continues to perpetuate the rich, vibrant sound of patriarch, Gabby Pahinui, with musical qualities that only the Pahinui family can create. Their incomparable arrangements and enjoyable stage presence have already won the hearts of fans worldwide.

Maui Brewers FestivalKnown for his unique brand of sarcastic humor, the hilarious Jim Gaffigan has amused fans nationwide with his “Comedy Presents” specials and recurring role on TBS’ “My Boys.” A laugh out loud stand-up who has appeared on “The Late Show with David Letterman” an unprecedented amount of times, Jim Gaffigan has also released six brilliant comedy CDs. Jim is responsible for some of the funniest and most memorable moments in recent television shows (primetime, cable and the late-night circuit) and films. After his first appearance on Letterman, the host personally chose him to develop a sitcom for World Wide Pants. Eighteen months later, “Welcome to New York” made its debut to critical acclaim. Jim then co-starred with Ellen DeGeneres on her CBS sitcom, “The Ellen Show” and he has had recurring roles on FOX’s “That 70s Show” and NBC’s “Ed.” Many recognize Gaffigan from his numerous award-winning commercial campaigns, which include Sierra Mist, ESPN, Saturn and Rolling Rock.

Lee RitenourLee Ritenour, one of the all-time great guitarists, will headline Smooth Jazz Nights in a can’t-miss concert. He will be joined by funky bassman, Melvin Lee Davis, Michael Paulo, saxophonist to the stars, and an all-star band with Michael Ruff and Garin Poliahu for an awesome night of smooth jazz. Grammy Award Winner Ritenour has been named Guitarist of the Year twice. His 40 albums that span three decades feature a combination of jazz, rock and Brazilian music. He was a founding member of the successful contemporary jazz band, Fourplay, along with keyboardist Bob James. Ritenour is currently producing a Superstar Guitar Collaboration album entitled Six String Theory, which is scheduled for release this summer.
