Schaefer Portrait Challenge 2009

MACC’s signature triennial: a prestigious statewide juried exhibition that has become a showcase of outstanding Hawai`i  artists and a chronicle of the changing face of our community.  The selected explorations in portraiture include a broad range of interpretation and styles - from representational to experimental in drawing, painting and sculpture  – all of which reveal  the rewards of observation and the essence of human connection.
