By night,
a concert under Hawaiian skies for audiences of up
to 5,000...by day the gently sloped lawn opens onto
vistas of ‘Iao Valley's sculpted peaks and the dormant
volcano, Haleakala. In short, an outdoor amphitheater
ideal for concerts on the green, festivals, and theme
parties. The amphitheater has been host to such talents
as: The eagles, The Who, Sting, Bob Dylan, Santana, Pearl Jam, Bonnie Raitt,
B.B. King, Ziggy Marley, James Taylor, Prince and many other
world renowned entertainers.
Amphitheater is a flexible outdoor venue, and concert set-up varies widely according to the event, artist and audience, as well as for specific technical needs. Amphitheater concerts can be anything from "general admission" (no seating) to full reserved seating ( chair set-up in sequential lettered & numbered rows, widening as a pie-wedge shape outward from stage) or a combination of both.
