Event Lawn
is a flexible outdoor venue, and concert set-up varies widely according to the event, artist and audience, as well as for specific technical needs. Lawn events can be anything from "general admission" (no seating) to full reserved seating ( chair set-up in sequential lettered & numbered rows in a rectangle reaching outward from stage) or a combination of both.

Castle Theater

The 1200-seat Castle Theater is The Center's principal performance space; its multi-tiered configuration places no seat farther than 90 feet from the stage. Designed for a wide range of productions, the Castle Theater features a 50'x 90' stage with orchestra pit and shell, sprung-wood dance floor, and advanced lighting and sound systems.

McCoy Studio Theater

Located in the Educational Complex, the McCoy Studio Theater is an intimate "black box" theater seating up to 250 for small-scale performances, seminars, and meetings. This flexible space features an omni-directional lighting grid and movable stage and seating areas for conventional or cabaret performances. The McCoy is the perfect place for a theater play, an educational seminar, photo shoot or to rent to meet your needs.

Schaefer International Gallery
One of the finest galleries in the state of Hawai‘i, the Schaefer International Gallery is the only museum-quality exhibition space on the island of Maui. The 4,000 square foot space features flexible exhibit lighting, free-standing and mobile wall panel systems, climate control and hardwood floors. Since opening in May 1994, the Schaefer International Gallery has been the sight of many memorable exhibits,  which have included internationally-renowned artists, traveling exhibits, local artists, and our own signature Schaefer Portrait Challenge, as well as  partnerships and collaborations with local artists, craftspeople and community groups.

Yokouchi Founders' Court

The Yokouchi Founders' Court is an outdoor tree-shaded courtyard located between the Castle Theater and the Schaefer International Gallery. The Founders' Court is the gathering place for intermissions and pre- & post-show celebrations. The courtyard is also a wonderful place to visit during the day, with beautiful views of the island. The cafe table-filled courtyard is a great place to have lunch or just enjoy the atmosphere.

Meeting Rooms

Morgado Hall
Morgado Hall is a second floor gathering space with glass-walled views of Mauna Kahalawai and Kahului Harbor. The multi-purpose space is equipped with a drop-down projection screen, two private bars and restrooms, and features a lanai overlooking Yokouchi Pavilion courtyard. It can accommodate up to 200 for a banquet and 225 for theater seating.
   

Alexa Higashi Meeting Room & Haynes Meeting Room

The Alexa Higashi Meeting Room and Haynes Meeting Room are multi-functional spaces equipped with a projection screen, dry-erase and tack boards that can be used as a feature for seminar events or be hidden behind mahagony louvers for your upscale reception. The rooms can accommodate 50 for a seminar and up to 100 for a reception or theater seating.

Published rates are non-negotiable. All menus subject to change and are based on selection availability at time of booking.
Cole Conference Room
Cole Conference Room can accommodate small meetings of up to 20 people.
Omori Studios
Located in the Educational Complex, the two Omori Studios provide The Center with dance class and rehearsal space. With hardwood sprung dance floors, ballet barres and floor to ceiling mirrors, the studios are suitable for all dance needs. The studios are also used for acting classes, auditions and rehearsals.
Dimensions of each studio: 28'x40'

Box Office
The Box Office, located at the very front of the Center by the big banyan tree, handles tickets for all events at The Center.
