Maui Arts & Cultural Center is pleased to announce a call to artists for the Schaefer Portrait Challenge 2022. This statewide juried exhibition has been held as a triennial since 2003, and continues to present the unique diversity of the people of our islands, represented through explorations in portraiture.

Due to ongoing concerns over the increase in COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i, we are shifting to an ONLINE ONLY entry and jurying process through the CaFÉ (Call for Entry) website.

All entries must be received through CaFÉ by the deadline of October 9, 2021 at 7:59 pm (HST). Works will not be accepted in-person.
